         My heart's desire is that you will find Lynn Winkel Art to be beautiful to the eye and encouraging to the soul. 

I am a self-taught artist who works in watercolor and alcohol inks.  I love the unpredictability of each medium. I have recently fallen in love with the brightness and flow of alcohol inks. Nature is my favorite subject to paint and I am truly inspired by the handiwork of God.

About the Artist featured. . .

I grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and after college at UNI I moved to the Minneapolis, MN area. This is where I got married and raised my family. I moved back to Cedar Rapids, twelve years ago. I continued to pursue painting in all seasons of my life. Painting has been a healing outlet for me as I am a three-time cancer survivor. As I try to portray God's beauty through nature in my art, my hope is that I can encourage others in the same way that I have been encouraged through some of my darkest days. 

Print Information

Each high-quality art print is made from an original watercolor or alcohol ink painting by Lynn Winkel. The mats and backboards are all acid-free. I am currently offering two sizes of prints. Each print is packaged with an 11x14 or 16x20 white mat.
